Is Holiday Travel in Your Plans?  Follow these tips to help keep your home safe.

• Don’t leave mail and newspapers to pile-up.  If possible, have a trusted friend or neighbor stop by daily to collect your mail and newspapers.  Or stop delivery while you are away.
• Do not list your vacation plans on social media sites.  Police believe a burglar targeted a Bucks County home earlier this year after a “friend” of a friend on Facebook read that they were away.
• Arrange for someone to plow your driveway if it snows while you are away.  An unplowed driveway lets people know you are not home.
• Use timers on indoor and outdoor lights.

Let us know the dates that you will be away.  Also let us know the names of individuals who will have access to your home, and if there are any temporary changes to who should be called if there is an alarm and you are unavailable.
